Resident Update: Podium re-opening date

Dear Residents,

We would like to provide an update on the anticipated re-opening of the podium following the completion of the landscaping works.

We are currently finishing the final soft landscaping works this week, following the completion of the hard landscaping in March. Final checks will take place on Monday 20 April, and we then expect to re-open the podium shortly afterwards, with access anticipated later in the week.

We appreciate that this is later than originally expected and sincerely apologise for the delay. This has been due to additional waterproofing works and associated design changes that were necessary to ensure the long-term integrity of the podium.

We are planning to remove the fencing to the main area of the podium next week; however, the MUGA is not yet ready to reopen. We are expecting delivery of the gate and acoustic panels during the week commencing 27 April, with installation works to follow immediately afterwards. We therefore currently anticipate the MUGA will be completed and re-opened in May.

Please note that some minor works to the steps will continue in localised areas across the podium, including the installation of warning strips and nosing. Any areas affected by these works will be temporarily cordoned off to ensure residents’ safety.
