Community Engagement Event: Developing the City’s New Planning Guidance
The City of London invite you to come along to a Community event on the future of the City’s built environment. It will be an opportunity for you to share your views and help shape new planning and development guidance.
Aim: As the City of London begin the preparation of new formal and binding guidance to support the implementation of the emerging City Plan 2040, they wish to gather views and perspectives from the community, residents and key stakeholders on what they need to understand, and consider, in each new guidance document. They want to learn more from you to confirm what needs to be included and prioritised.
Description: The event will introduce residents and the community to the new formal planning guidance (also known as supplementary planning documents or SPDs) and their approach to engagement. There will be opportunities to put your views across on what matters to you and what they should consider when preparing the guidance (SPD) preparation, including how they collect and spend infrastructure funds, what is important to you in relation to culture provision, and your day-to-day experiences of living and moving around the Square Mile.
