Resident update: Temporary Smell from Resin Flooring Work

Dear Residents,

We understand there has been some concern about a smell being produced from the Eastern Base construction works at Middlesex Street Estate. We want to reassure you that the smell, although strong, is non-toxic and not harmful. It is the result of some resin flooring that is being laid in the ground floor compound, which is undergoing a second coat and will be drying off over the weekend. We understand and apologise that it might not be very pleasant, but it is not harmful. We have been liaising with the Environmental Health Officer, who is satisfied that we are adhering to guidance.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused. If you have any concerns, please speak to Rob Schofield or Harry Clark in the site office at Unit 20, Gravel Lane.

Best wishes,

Neilcott
