RESIDENT WORKSHOPS, FRIDAY 26 APRIL 2024

We are running two separate workshops to hear residents’ thoughts on aspects of the podium which is being refurbished as part of the City of London Police’s Eastern Base project at Middlesex Street Estate.

10.30am: Planting Workshop

12pm: Accessible Play Workshop

CONTRACTOR ON SITE: CAR PARK RAMP, THURSDAY 4 APRIL 2024

Contractors will be working on the exit ramp of the basement car park on Thursday 4 April between 9-10.30am. This investigative work includes drilling a small hole to ascertain the thickness of the slab behind existing underground gate post. There will be some noise during the work and the ramp will remain open to traffic.

At the meeting of the City of London Planning Applications Sub-Committee on Tuesday 13 February 2024, Members resolved to grant permission for the planning application for the construction of an operational base for the City of London Police in the car parks at Middlesex Street Estate. The planning consent is subject to the signing of a Section 106 Agreement and compliance with planning conditions.
